A note from our CEO - Corona Virus Outbreak

Dear Sauipe Community,
Our thoughts are with you and your loved ones during these uncertain times. Some of you might have been directly affected by the corona virus, and our hearts go out to you during this difficult time.
We know that your inbox has been flooded with emails, and we don't want to add to the anxiety of the moment. But you deserve to know how Sauipe is approaching the situation.
Our primary concern right now is with your well being and the well being of our team members. As we navigate these unprecedented times, I hope that we all stay safe and healthy. We know this is not a time when people think of swimsuits, and none of that is essential right now.
Still, we continue to work. We do not have a brick and mortar store. Our staff - all ladies! - have their own families to care for, and I am so proud to work with such a dedicated team, who continue their great work from home now.
This work arrangement is not new to us. Sauipe is a small business with a small staff. For the past few years, we all worked from home a few times a week, which allowed us to have the right balance between work and personal life, be closer to our families and be more present in our kids' lives. Now we are home 100% of the time.
HOW CAN SAUIPE SAFELY SHIP ONLINE ORDERS?
Sauipe is following all the guidelines from the CDC: social distancing; everyone is working from home and adequately sanitizing our workspaces multiple times a day.
When schools in our area started to close, our team began to work from home full time, and we decided to move our fulfillment center to a small facility nearby. We sanitized the facility before moving in and installed a small inventory so we could continue to ship to our online customers.
The facility is accessed only by one Sauipe employee who wears a mask and gloves when handling your orders.
Although our online sales have taken a hit in the past two weeks, we are fulfilling orders as usual. Since we have only one employee accessing the facility, there may be a short delay, but we are doing our best to ship orders promptly.
