Our customers are conscious about keeping goods out of landfills. We align with that philosophy and want to encourage you to do the same.
If you are ready to part ways with any garment, including your swimsuits, here are some suggestions that will keep your items in circulation and our of landfills.
Many of our customers resell their swimsuits - and many other garments - at Poshmark (poshmark.com), Depop (depop.com) and The Real Real (therealreal.com). Other great options are flea markets and garage sales.
If you are reselling your swimsuit, please make sure it is clean and in good conditions. We want the next person to love it too!
Donate your clean, wearable goods to your local community non-profit organizations or shelters.
Most organizations have rules on what they can accept, so please check with them first if you are donating swimsuits.
Retold (www.retoldrecycling.com) is a service that collects and sorts items, sending them to thrift stores, donation centers, recyclers, resellers and up-cyclers. According to Retold, nothing will go to the landfill.
There is a small fee to order a bag from them, which is equivalent to the free shipping label they will send to you.
Sauipe will help you recycle
From March thru May 2023 Sauipe will help you recycle your old swimsuits for free.
When you shop with us from March thru May, please email email@example.com and we will include a prepaid bag with your order. All you have to do is fill up the bag and put it in the mail. This bag should be used only for items you want to recycle - NOT a return of your purchase. We will not open the bag, and will combine it with packages from other customers and forward them to Retold.
Sauipe will send you a $30 discount code for your next purchase when you use this service. Valid for U.S. customers only.
